* Agricultural Training
People of the area in which SIDDHESWARPUR SRISTEE works are mainly dependent on agriculture. Most of the people who are engaged in agricultural activities are either illiterate or semi literate. They don't have knowledge of modern agricultural technology. As a result agricultural output per hector of land is very low. Even they keep agricultural land idle for five to six months a year due to lack of knowledge on maximum utilization of land without damaging its fertility. Realizing the ground fact like every year this year also SIDDHESWARPUR SRISTEE conducted two agricultural training programmes. A total number of 23 farmers participated the programmes. Farmers were trained both on field and off field. SIDDHESWARPUR SRISTEE has given training on all major agricultural crops generated in the area.
* Veterinary First Aid
More than 1/3rd of the total families of the area have domestic animals (mainly cows & goats) and domestic birds (mainly hens, cocks & ducks). It is also a fact that there is scarcity of good veterinarians in the Block. To solve this problem to a certain extent SIDDHESWARPUR SRISTEE has been organizing veterinary first aid training programmes since its formation. This year also it organized one veterinary first aid training programme. A total number of 14 trainees participated the programmes.
