It is a great pleasure to me in presenting our organization achievements, success and also our shortcomings & failures with donors, friends and well wishers.
During the years various action programmes were undertaken in diverse disciplines encompassing all aspects of the fabrics of rural society the progress under Mondir Bazar of South 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal has been quote encouraging. The interventions comprised under these broad head meeting, training, seminars, workshops, social welfare and social action, emergency relief services, economic action, technical support serviced to the people in need, etc. in collaboration with network NGOs, funding organizations. We continued to intervene on a few issue-based activities like – women Empowerment and gender justice, Women & Child heath development, economic development through sustainable agriculture, animal husbandry and fish farming and promotion of rural handicrafts. Efforts were also made towards capacity building of the network organizations through organizational destructing and development of human potential of SPS as well as of the target people, specially the leaders of Self Help Groups and people’s Organizations.
We SIDDHESWARPUR SRISTEE are very proud to mention that we have successfully implemented/organized two Government sponsored programmers. The SIDDHESWARPUR SRISTEE is anxiously looking forward for a long journey with Governments (Central and State) to uplift socio-economic conditions of people of the area.
I cannot help mentioning here that like last years we have been able to keep our flag at high on SHGs formation taking especially women in different geo-specific areas.
